Terms of Service

1. Overview and Acceptance

NDAA.AI (the “Site”) is operated by Terahertz, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By visiting the Site, creating an account, or using any of its features, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any additional terms and policies referenced herein, such as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Site.

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time by posting updates to this page. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Eligibility

By using the Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or jurisdiction of residence, or that you are the age of majority and have given consent for any of your minor dependents to use the Site.

3. Accounts and Google Sign-In

Certain features of the Site may require an account. Account creation and sign-in are provided through Google Sign-In, operated by Google LLC and processed through Firebase Authentication. By signing in, you authorize us to receive certain information from your Google account, such as your name, email address, and profile photo, as described in our Privacy Policy. We never receive or store your Google password.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the security of the device and Google account you use to access the Site. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.

4. Informational Content; No Professional Advice

The Site tracks and reports on the National Defense Authorization Act (“NDAA”) and related legislative activity. All material on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making legal, business, financial, contracting, compliance, or policy decisions. Content on the Site does not constitute legal advice, lobbying guidance, or professional counsel of any kind.

Legislative status, bill summaries, funding figures, and related data are compiled from public sources, including Congress.gov, the Congressional Research Service, committee publications, and news reporting.   • to upload or transmit viruses or any other malicious code that will or may affect the functionality or operation of the Site;
  • to collect or track the personal information of others;
  • to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape;
  • to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Site or any related website.

We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Site for violating any of the prohibited uses.

6. Intellectual Property

The Site’s design, layout, original text, graphics, and compilation of content are the property of Terahertz, Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Works of the U.S. Government, including bill texts and Congressional Research Service reports, are in the public domain. Third-party names, marks, and articles referenced or linked on the Site remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site links to third-party websites, including government sites and news outlets, and relies on third-party services, including Google and Firebase. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of third-party materials or websites, and we do not warrant and will not have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials, websites, or services. Third-party materials accessed through the Site are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind. Complaints, claims, concerns, or questions regarding third-party products or services should be directed to the third party.

8. User Submissions

If you send us comments, suggestions, corrections, or other materials (collectively, “Submissions”), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate, and otherwise use them in any medium, without compensation to you. We are and shall be under no obligation to maintain any Submission in confidence, to pay compensation for any Submission, or to respond to any Submission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that the results obtained from use of the Site will be accurate or reliable. The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied.

In no case shall Terahertz, Inc., our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind — including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, or loss of data — arising from your use of the Site or any content obtained through it, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In states or jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Terahertz, Inc. and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns, and employees, from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

11. Termination

These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms at any time by discontinuing use of the Site. If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of these Terms, we may terminate your access to the Site at any time without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

13. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms; such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the Site.
