Sec. 828Clarification of certain elements of Department of Defense Mentor-Protege Program

Statutory text

(a) Clarification of limitation on protege firms participating in concurrent mentor-protege agreementsSubsection

(c) (2) of section 4902 of title 10, United States Code, is amended—(1)by inserting under subsection (e) after one agreement; and(2)by striking during the 5-year period beginning on the date such concern enters into the first such agreement and inserting after the completion of any previous such agreement.

(b) Clarification of requirement that mentor firms must be for-profit firmsSubsection

(d) (1) of such section is amended—(1)by striking and at the end of subparagraph (A);(2)by redesignating subparagraph (B) as subparagraph (C); and(3)by inserting after subparagraph (A) the following new subparagraph (B):(B)is an entity organized for profit that operates primarily within the United States; and.

(c) Clarification of term of participation agreement. Subsection

(e)
