Sec. 757 — Expansion of prohibition on painful research on certain animals

Section 732 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 (Public Law 119—60; 10 U.S.C. 4001 note) is amended—(1)in the section heading, by striking on domestic cats and dogs and inserting on certain animals; and(2)in subsection (a), by striking a domestic cat (Felis catus) or a domestic dog (Canis familiaris) and inserting a domestic cat (Felis catus), a domestic dog (Canis familiaris), or a nonhuman member of the order Primates.
