Statutory text

(a) In general. Section 2113 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection:

(h) Establishment of a doctor of psychology program and a master of social work program

(1) The Secretary shall establish at the University a doctor of psychology program and a master of social work program.

(2) A doctor of philosophy in clinical psychology shall not be considered to satisfy the requirement of paragraph (1)..

(b) Establishment date. The Secretary shall establish the programs required by subsection (h) of section 2113 of title 10, United States Code, as added by subsection (a), not later than five years after the date of the enactment of this Act.

(c) Report. Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to Congress a report on the programs required by subsection (h) of section 2113 of title 10, United States Code, as added by subsection (a), including—(1)the estimated date of matriculation for the first class of students for each such program;(2)the estimated graduation date for the first class from each such program;(3)the expected class size of each such program during the 10-year period following the submission of the report;(4)the estimated number of faculty needed to operate each such program during the 10-year period following the submission of the report;(5)an estimate of facilities needs for each such program; and(6)the estimated cost to establish and operate each such program during the 10-year period following the submission of the report, categorized by—(A)personnel;(B)facilities; and(C)other costs, as determined by the Secretary.
