Statutory text

(a) Repeal of requirement to act through specified officialSubsections (a) and (b) of section 222 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 (Public Law 118—31; 137 Stat. 189) are amended by striking , acting through the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, each place it appears.

(b) Repeal of executed requirement. Such section is further amended—(1)by striking subsection (c); and(2)by redesignating subsections (d) and (e) as subsections (c) and (d), respectively.
