Sec. 1872 — Amendments to the procurement technical assistance cooperative agreement program

(a) Purposes. Section 4952(1) of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 861 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 (Public Law 119—60), is amended by striking furnishing procurement technical assistance and inserting furnishing confidential procurement technical assistance .

(b) Increased funding limits. Section 4955 of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 861(c) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 (Public Law 119—60), is amended—(1)in subsection (a)—(A)in paragraph (1), by striking $1,500,000 and inserting $2,000,000;(B)in paragraph (2), by striking $750,000 and inserting $1,000,000; and(C)in paragraph (4), by striking 1,500,000 and inserting $2,000,000; and(2)by adding at the end the following new subsection:

(f) Waiver. The Secretary may waive or modify the dollar amounts in subsection (a) on a case-by-case basis, if the Secretary—(1)determines that it would be in the best interest of the program; and(2)provides the congressional defense committees notice of such modification or waiver not later than 30 days after making such modification or issuing such waiver..
