Statutory text
Section 835(b) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 (Public Law 118—31; 137 Stat. 338; 10 U.S.C. note prec. 4201) is amended—(1)in paragraph
(4) (B), by inserting except as provided in paragraph (5), before shall not apply; and(2)by adding at the end the following new paragraph:
(5) Exclusion for shipbuilding programs. Paragraph
(4) (B) shall not apply to manufactured articles procured in connection with a shipbuilding program..
