Statutory text
Not later than November 1, 2027, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the House of Representatives and the Senate a report on the efforts of the Department of Defense to update military personnel systems to protect from unauthorized disclosure—(1)intelligence operations of the Department of Defense;(2)the identities of undercover personnel conducting intelligence or intelligence-related activities;(3)intelligence sources and methods; and(4)cover mechanisms in support of intelligence or intelligence-related activities.
