Sec. 1233 — Modification of certification with respect to oversight of United States military posture in Europe

Section 1249(b) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 (Public Law 119—60) is amended—(1)in paragraph (1), by striking ; and;(2)in paragraph (2), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and(3)by adding at the end the following:(3)does not undermine United States or allied deterrence of the Russian Federation; and(4)does not reduce the readiness of forces assigned to or stationed in the United States European Command to support global contingencies..
