Chapter 1 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new section:103.References to the Secretary of Defense and the Department of DefenseAny reference to the Secretary of Defense or Department of Defense in any law, regulation, map, document, record, or other paper of the United States shall be deemed to be a reference to the Secretary of War or Department of War, respectively..
