Sec. 1012 — Requirement for procurement of components for naval vessels from manufacturers in national technology and industrial base

(a) Additional procurement limitation. Section 4864

(a) (2) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the following new subparagraphs:(G)Auxiliary equipment, including pumps, for all shipboard services.(H)Propulsion system components, including engines, shafting, reduction gears, and propellers.(I)Shipboard cranes.(J)Spreaders for shipboard cranes.(K)Air circuit breakers.(L)Auxiliary chill water systems..

(b) Applicability. The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply with respect to contracts entered into on or after the date of the enactment of this Act.
